Probiotics can improve the growth performance and immune function of animals by establishing the dominant bacteria group, promoting the nutrients absorption and producing antibacterial substances. Immune polysaccharide could promote the growth of beneficial bacteria, inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria, improve the growth performance of animals mainly by improve animal digestive tract flora.
   As a non-specific immune factor, lysozyme is involved in many kinds of immune responses, improving and enhancing the phagocytosis and digestion of macrophages, enhancing the body's resistance to maintain the balance of intestinal flora and promoting the growth of animals.
   This test mainly study the effects on growth performance and immune function in broilers of lysozyme, probiotics and Astragalus Polysaccharide.
1 materials and methods
1.1 Test materials
   Lysozyme was provided by Zhejiang Aegis Biotech Co., Ltd; Lactobacillus and Bacillus were provided by Xi'an Canghai Biological Co., Ltd; Aastragalan was provided by Sichuan Deyang city Hoycome Bio-Tech Co., Ltd.
  1. 2 Testing animal & designation
   Select 288 1 day old healthy Avian broilers, divided into six groups randomly, each group have four repeat, 12 chickens in each replicate. Feed them ration, 100g/t lysozyme supplement ration, 5 billion CFU/g probiotics supplement ration and 320 g/t astragalan supplement ration.
   The test ration were formulated with corn and soybean meal, and the nutrition level was shown in Sheet 1.

  2. 3. 1 Determination of growth performance
   Weighting the 1st, 21st and 42nd days broiler, calculate the feed consumption, the daily average weight gain, average daily consumption and feed conversion rate of each stage.
  1. 3. 2 Determination of serum biochemical parameters
   In the first day of the 3rd and 6th week morning, selected 3 broilers from each replicate randomly, prepared heart blood, make serum samples, test the contect of Lysozyme and the activity of total protein (TP), total cholesterol (TC), glucose (Glu) and aspartate transaminase (GPT), glutamic pyruvic transaminase (GPT). Serum biochemical indicators were determined according to the kit instructions.
1.4 statistical method
  The test data were analyzed by SPSS10. 0.  Variance analysised and LSD multiple comparised by One-Way, and mark the result by Average±Standard error, and multiple comparison.
2 Results and Analysis
2.1 Effect of lysozyme, probiotics and Astragalus Polysaccharide on growth performance of Broilers
  Sheet 2 shows that: compared with the control group, supplement lysozyme, probiotics and astragalan into ration can improve broiler growth performance and feed conversion rate. Among them, compared to the control group, lysozyme increased 7.79%, the difference was significant, the Feed reward increase 3.93%, the difference was significant. Compared to astragalan, the weight of Lysozyme group increased 2.43%, the feed reward increased 2.86%. Compared with the control group, the weight of probiotic group increased of 6.55%, the difference was significant; Compared with the control group, the weight of astragalan increased of 5.25%, the difference was significant.
2.2 Effect of lysozyme, probiotics and Astragalus Polysaccharide on the immune function of Broilers
   Sheet 2 shows that: Supplement lysozyme into the early growth broiler's ration could improve the content of lysozyme in serum of broilers, compared to the control group, the content of lysozyme in serum increased 43. 16%, difference is very significant; Compared to the probiotic and and astragalan group,increased 34. 36% and 22. 84%, the difference was significant. Lysozyme could increase the total protein content in serum, compared with the control group, increased 41.58%, the difference was significant. Probiotics and astragalan can reduce the content of serum glucose and alanine aminotransferase effectively, compared with the control group, reduced 10. 93%,10. 98% and 38. 71%, 35. 75% respectively, the difference was significant.
Sheet 4 shows that: compared with the other groups, supplement lysozyme into the ration can improve the serum lysozyme content of broilers, increased by 33. 3% (P < 0. 05), 21. 5% (P < 0. 05) and 15. 8% (P > 0. 05); Reduce the content of cholesterol in serum, reduced by 11. 4% (P < 0. 05) and 8% (P < 0. 05) and 7. 9% (P< 0.05). Supplemente with lysozyme, probiotics and astragalus polysaccharide could increased the content of total protein, reduce the content of serum glucose and glutamic pyruvic transaminase in serum.
3 Conclusion
   Supplement  lysozyme and probioticsy etc into the ration of young broiler could  improve the growth performance, especially inprove the early growth performance; they also have different degrees impact on blood biochemical indexes. The weight gain and feed rward of lysozyme group were higher than in the other experimental groups, differences are significant; At the same time, lysozyme can  improve broiler Serum Lysozyme and total protein content significantly, improve the immune function.

Effect of Microbial Lysozyme on the Production Performance and Egg Quality of Laying Hens

1 materials and methods
1.1 Test materials
Aegis microbial Lysozyme provide by Zhejiang Aegis Biotech Co., Ltd
1.2 Test method
1.2.1 Testing designation
Selected 300 healthy Hyline layers which are 34 week old  randomly, using single factor randomized design, divided into five groups, each group have three repeate members, 20 birds per replicate. As the sheet 1 show. Pre-experiment 7d, the test period 56d.
Treat the treatment groups with the same basal diet, Add Lysozyme 5mg/kg, 10mg/kg, 15mg/kg, 20mg/kg to I-IV groups respectively. Regard the V group as the control group.
1.2.2 Feeding management 
     Cage culture,  feed three times daily, appropriate plus amount approved by that there is only bottom material in the next add time, free drinking water, Statistics the feed intake of each group.
1.2.3 Testing of the main raw material of basal diet & the nutrition level
The test basal diet is Liaohe brand formula feed during the laying period which is produced by ABNA (Liaoning) Co., Ltd. ( Feeding period: laying period), show as sheet 2.
 
1.2.4 drug adding method
    Weight different dosage of lysozyme powder respectively, mixed with little basic ration as premix, and then amplificated gradually , mixing in the standby basal ration.
1.2.Observate index and testing method
    Record the clinical observation, the mental state, diet and defecation of birds after 7 days feeding.
1.2.5.1 Testing of egg laying performance
     Records of the eggs number & weight of treatment groups daily, and statistical data of  remaining amount of ration in 20th, 30th, 40th, 49th, 10th day. Calculating the egg weight, average egg weight, egg laying rate, feed/egg ratio and feed consumption. The laying rate %=[ Number of eggs / ( hens number * feeding days)] x 100%.
1.2.5.2 collection of egg samples
    Randomly taken two eggs from each replicate group which are lay in10th, 20th, 30th, 40th, 49th day respectively, and mark the date & group these eggs, storage them at 4 ℃ in refrigerator and waiting test.
1.2.6 Data analysis
Using SPSS13.0 system analysis software, analyze the test data and Multiple compared with Duncan's method (Duncan).
2 Testing Results
2.1 Clinical Observation
During and after the testing period, the clinical observation of chicken none abnormal, good appetite, normal drinking, good mental condition, normal stool, feathers full of luster, no chicken died during the test.

2.2  Lysozyme effect on production performance of layer
Sheet 3 results showed that: compared with the control group, the II-IV groups' average egg weight  are obvious increased (P<0.05);  The III-IV groups' egg laying radio are obvious increased  (P<0.05);  The III-IV groups' feed/egg radio are obvious reduced (P<0.05);

3    Discussion
3.1 Effect on Laying hens’ health of Lysozyme 
Lysozyme is a non-toxic, harmless natural protease.There is no any effect on the cells of animals. It is a very safe and nutritious feed additive. Lysozyme can not only change the intestinal microbial colonies, promote the digestion and absorption of food, improve the utilization rate of feed, but also have strong thermal stability, acid resistance, easy to storage and transportation. Lysozyme is a kind of high security additives. According to the clinical observation, in the whole experimental period, the experimental group has no abnormal situation, the whole groups are healthy. The experiment showed that the addition of lysozyme had no adverse effect on the growth and health of laying hens.
3.2 Effects on egg production of Lysozyme 
    The broilers feed by Shao Chunrong etc proved that, lysozyme can be used to control gastroenteritis, indigestion and suppurative processes of livestock and poultry, what's more, it could also work similar as non - specific growth hormone; Li Xiaohui etc. studied and found that, lysozyme has a close contact with immunoglobulin on function, and could also complement with other biological active substances  to enhance its antibody activity , in order to kill bacteria.
Qiu Weihai supplemented with 500mg lysozyme in piglets ration, diarrhea rate decreased by 5% ~ 50% compared to the control group, controlled the piglet diarrhea basically, and that lysozyme as natural bifidus growth factor, could promote the growth of bifidobacterium, supplement suitable quantity  lysozyme in ration of young animal could make ration to be emulsion, in order to promote the formation and stability of intestinal micro flora. Zhang Shiqing et al reported after supplement suitable quantity lysozyme in feed, the energy, nutrients metabolic rate and immune index of broilers were increased. This experiment also proves that lysozyme has a certain effect on improving the production performance of layer hens.
3.3 Effects on egg quality of Lysozyme 
Test results show that after supplement of lysozyme in the feed, the index of eggs eggshell thickness, eggshell strength, specific gravity, broken&softies rate, yolk colorimetric and Ha s unit have improved, but the difference was not significant. It has been shown before that the lysozyme could improve the egg weight, egg laying rate and feed/egg rate, and ensure the healthy production of laying hens, reduce the disease occurrence, good health effects, improve the egg production performance to some extent.
4  Conclusion
① There was no adverse reaction of lysozyme in egg laying hens;
② Supplement of Lysozyme in ration could improve the production performance of laying hens, the best additive amount is 15mg/kg;
③Lysozyme can improve the laying performance of hens in a certain extent.
